It is a requirement that all persons on the water must wear a PFD whether during a training session or a race.

We will provide approved PFDs that have been checked every year. Paddlers will not be allowed to wear any other PFDs than the ones provided by the organisation.

Registration

Registration is open to teams that are members of the IBCPC: that is breast cancer survivors (no other cancers). All paddlers must have had a diagnosis of breast cancer, this includes the drummer and steer.
Registrants may also be supporters of these paddlers but they must register as a supporter.

We consider as a team leader the person in charge of the team registration for the 2026 IBCPC Festival. She / he will be the contact person : the link between the team and the organising committee.

She / he can also be a BCS paddler, a supporter, a coach or a manager.

You can transfer your registration to another person/team. This will incur a €25 per alteration administration charge.

Any transfer must occur before May 1st 2026. After this date transfers will not be allowed.

You can cancel your registration, however, any registration fee or deposit paid is non-refundable. This is the same policy that has been in place for previous IBCPC festivals.

The helm certificate required for all the helms attending the 2026 IBCPC Festival is available here: https://ibcpcfrance2026.com/registrations/documentation/. It has to be filled in and signed by a representative of your national governing body or the president/chairman of your club.

It has been made compulsory by the French authorities in order to ensure the safety of everyone and the smooth running of the event.

Event affiliated accommodation is accommodation that is booked through the Organising Committee system. Should you book your accommodation through another provider or independently then you can still access the transport but will have to make your own way to a central pick up point that is on the bus transport route.

This transport will be available for participants travelling to and from training, the festival launch event, the opening ceremony parade, and the race days.

We have secured a range of accommodation across the region for participants. Once your registration has been qualified you will be emailed available accommodation offers.
